I've Played in Many bands over the years, mainly small gigs, pub venues, parties, and weddings etc... playing mainly cover versions but we used to furtively sneak a few original numbers into the set sometimes, hoping that nobody would notice..!

But they did notice.!  and liked what they heard  (thankfully.!)  

Even got requests to play them.! well cool ay? we thought so.!

Didn't make a lot of money at playing pubs etc, but kept us in guitar strings, drum sticks and new amps.! a story that may sound very familiar to those of you who are also musicians, but importantly we gained a reputation as being one of the best bands in the local area, so all's cool.

Still do collaborations with my old band mate Jim Dunstone who has played some excellent drum and bass on some of  my songs and is now playing in, and recording, bands in USA  (pictured bottom left on the Cruel Blow poster shown below) and composed track 'Lake Still' that I played lead guitar on.
